Find EventsGlittery Clittery: A ConSENSUAL Party
Fierce, feminist and furiously funny, the award-winning, champagne-swilling cabaret power trio Fringe Wives Club are making their London debut at the Underbelly Festival this summer! Packed full of original songs, epic dance moves, an explosion of sequins and an arsenal of musical instruments, this is Glittery Clittery: A ConSENSUAL Party.
Starring musical comedy powerhouse Victoria Falconer (Winner: Best Musical Variety Act, London Cabaret Awards, Time Out London’s Top 10 Cabaret Stars with EastEnd Cabaret), Australia’s physical comedy kween Tessa Waters (Winner: Best Comedy Weekly Award at Adelaide Fringe 2017) and critically-acclaimed comedian and storyteller Rowena Hutson (Winner: Most Outstanding Comedy at Melbourne Fringe 2015).
Debuting around Australia in 2017 and receiving a host of five-star reviews and sold-out shows, this is a high-energy appreciation of human sexuality in all of its diverse forms. A call-to-arms from the “all-singing, all-dancing, all-slaying” trio (The Music), it highlights and celebrates the need for modern feminism to be intersectional, accessible and bold. Gloriously inclusive, unashamedly risqué and utterly joyous!
Winner: Moosehead Comedy Development Award 2017 (Australia)
Nominated: Best Newcomer, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017
Nominated: Best Cabaret, Fringe World Festival 2017 (Perth)
