TINA - The Tina Turner Musical

From humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner didn’t just break the rules, she rewrote them. This new stage musical, presented in association with Tina Turner herself, reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race.

One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards and her live shows have been seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history.

Featuring her much-loved songs, TINA, The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd. Don’t miss this world premiere, opening at London’s Aldwych Theatre this Spring!

  • Brilliant!

This show was absolutely fantastic! The cast was brilliant, super talented. Script really well put together. Honestly I felt like I’d left a Tina Turner concert. Loved it, would go back again and again. If you’re thinking of going, don’t think just book it. Its a cliche, but it really was Simply The Best

  • A great night out

Adrienne Warren as Tina is superb. Very enjoyable show. Negatives: sound balance on *some* songs not too good, rather muffled and indistinct. Technology should really deliver more than sheer volume these days. Slightly surprised at the lack of obviously live band.

A wonderful evenings entertainment I am certain the show will outrun me. An outstanding cast and as for “Tina” I am lost for words to praise her performance highly enough.... magical! Take your partner, your children your mum and your granny they will all love it.
