Disney's Aladdin

Disney's Aladdin has "landed triumphantly in London's West End" (Daily Telegraph). Featuring all the songs from the Academy Award-winning classic film, this "shining, shimmering spectacle" (Huffington Post) is everything you could wish for and more. An extraordinary creative team is led by director and choreographer, Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon). Music is by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) with lyrics from Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast), Tim Rice (The Lion King) and Chad Beguelin (Elf), who also wrote the book. The lead roles of Aladdin and Jasmine will be taken by rising British stars Dean John-Wilson (Here Lies Love) and Jade Ewen (In the Heights). Broadway's Trevor Dion Nicholas has made his London stage debut as the Genie. A fabulous cast and orchestra, over 350 magnificent costumes, and breathtaking sets and special effects come together to create the "sheer Genie-us" (Evening Standard) that is Aladdin.

  • Enjoyable night out with the kids!

    18 August 2018

We enjoyed the show although the kids are ‚jake carter‘ mad ! So they were dissapointed it wasnt him who was appearing as aladdin!! Nonetheless we really enjoyed the performance! The genie was fantastic - really funny!! The Princess beautiful & Aladdin great too - the whole cast in fact! Nice night out for kids! The staff were really friendly and helpful at the venue. Right before the show we had to pass through a bar area that was considerably stuffy & quite odourful - it was suffocating and left my kids wretching before we even got to the perfomance. There were lots of windows in the bar but none were open unfortunately. A bit of ventillation in this area would help with the experience!! But all that said - we enjoyed our night out! The buzz in the SOHO area after was fantastic - lots of areas to eat - inthe form of small eatiers - after the 7.30pm Friday show - we also parked right around the corner from the venue in frith street - very good safe on street parking! We will go again some day !!

  • Fantastic musical great for adults and children

    18 August 2018

It was a fantastic show, love the genie. Both my children enjoyed the musical but it was a pity that my 5 year old's view was blocked most of the time by the adults sitted in front of him, despite him already sitting on a bolster seat and we were on row W of the stall seats. He ended up sitting on my lap trying desperately to follow the musical.
