Many worlds collide in this Baroque caprice as Shakespeare's lovers from A Midsummer Night's Dream are shipwrecked on the fantasy island of The Tempest. Jeremy Sams' libretto is set to his pasticcio of the works of Handel, Vivaldi, Rameau and
others. First performed at the New York Met in 2011 this production marks the European premiere of
The Enchanted Island.
