Horrible Histories - More Best of Barmy Britain

We all want to meet people from history. The trouble is everyone is dead!

So it’s time to prepare yourselves for a special production of Horrible Histories featuring MORE of your favourite characters from our barmy past – and a brand new scene with wordy Will!
Find out why the Romans were revolting! Could you survive the vicious Vikings? Can evil Elizabeth entertain England? Would you party with the Puritans? Clap along with crazy King Charles! Dare you stand and deliver to dastardly Dick Turpin? Vomit with the vile Victorians and prepare to do battle in the frightful First World war!

It’s history with the nasty bits left in!

  • Just magic

    4 September 2017

Barmy Britain was "just magic"according to our granddaughter a die hard "Horrible Histories " fan. Full of wit, energy and laughs with great costumes and incredibly fast changes. I would certainly recommend it!

  • Good, but very short

    2 September 2017

I took my four children to see this production, as they are all massive Horrible Histories fans. Sadly, although the two actors did a fantastic job, the whole show only lasted an hour. When you have travelled for nearly 3 hours to get into London, you would expect to be entertained for a little longer than that. It would have been nice to hear some of the well-known songs, and see more than two actors on stage, given the cost of the tickets.

  • Disappointing

    2 September 2017

I am afraid the show came across as a rather dull recount of history that just about suited one 6 year old. The gaggle of nine year olds and myself were quite bored. Although we all agreed that the actors were fantastic. So it must have been the script that was not really up to scratch. A real shame.

  • Barmy!!

    2 September 2017

"Amazing, funny, hilarious, probably one of the best yet" Isobelle, aged 9 "Needs more fake blood" Bethan, aged 12 Brilliant performance from very talented actors who handled what seemed like 3000 costume changes with aplomb, making the audience feel very much involved. Frances, aged (ahem!)
